25. More NHS Staff

There are 85,000 more nurses and 32,000 more doctors in the NHS than in 1997.

For dates 1999-2005
% increase in doctors: 28.8%
% increase in nurses: 22.6%
% increase in NHS managers: 62.2%

62% increase in managers!? What a disgrace. If this is classed as an achievement then no wonder people want Blair out and fast.

The people want a reduction in NHS managers yet you fail to listen us on this and a whole other range of issues. It is us, the people, that will hold you to account and we will be brutal when our time comes.

to me this is further evience backing up the benefits of privatisation of the NHS. I would much rather pay for health insurance and know that I would recieve efficient healthcare and that my taxes were not being wasted on excess admin staff that are not actually assisting the patients or the people.
