I can't believe you have the nerve to mention pensions.
I have a very small private pension which I'd intended to continue building up over the years. However, I stopped paying anything into my pension after Gordon Brown raided our private pension funds, sending my pension, along with those of so many others, plummeting.
I stopped going away on holiday to put money into that pension. Yet all the money I paid in during a period of over a year, all of my contributions, just vanished into thin air thanks to Mr Brown and your government.
I might just as well have tipped all my hard earned savings down the nearest drain. Instead I was daft enough to save under this government and Brown grabbed my savings and damaged my pension. I'll never forgive him for that.
But then I should have seen it coming. Why would government Ministers like Mr Brown and the rest of you give two hoots about the savings of people like me? You're alright, aren't you? You must think it's Christmas every day. Taxpayers like me are funding huge, elitist salaries, perks and pensions for the lot of you - and Gordon's ensured that nothing can rob your golden pension pots.
I've no confidence in pensions or any of you lot, Brown in particular, after this.
To compound the injury, your government then decided to rob us of our State pensions too. Because that's what you've done in forcing us to retire later.
Many of us out here doubt that we'll live to see our State pension, we're convinced that your government, if it remains in office, will continue moving the goal posts of the State pension until we all snuff it before we can claim.
How dare you greedy, self centred government Ministers tell us to work on after retirement age in order to survive! I don't accept that demographic factors will mean insufficient funds for State pensions. The real reason is that your government is squandering many £billions or our hard earned taxes through poor management of the country and economy and is diverting funds to other areas - including elitist pensions for the public sector and for you lot!
Look what this government have achieved, you say, we're going to increase pensions for women to 70% by 2010. But you'll just deduct the same amount from the Social they would have had after retirement, won't you? So women won't be any better off. And in fact it seems to me we'll be worse off, because your government, if still in office, will soon force all of us to work until we drop.
So, in reality, we'll get no flipping pensions at all, will we?
